Kota Kinabalu is the capital state of Sabah and was formerly known as Jesselton. It is located on the northwest coast of Malaysian Borneo facing the South China Sea. Kota Kinabalu is one of the major industrial and commercial centers in East Malaysia thus making this city known as one of the fastest growing cities in Malaysia.
